Augere

Augere is engaged in the business of deploying wireless broadband networks in developing markets (primarily using the WiMax platform) around the world. It is expected to primarily focus on developing countries in Asia and also consider opportunities in Africa and Eastern Europe.

The Company is in the process of finalizing partnerships with major local telecom operators, equipment suppliers, and other leading wireless broadband stakeholders. Augere is led by Sanjiv Ahuja, formerly the CEO of Orange. He is backed by an experienced management and technical team which largely consist of former France Telecom executives.
